One thing you can often count on with pizza is leftovers. Fortunately, pizza keeps well when refrigerated -- though it's a bad idea to leave it out and let it cool to room temperature. Any food left between 40-140 degrees becomes a breeding ground for bacteria.

The best way to heat up leftover pizza isn't in the microwave or the oven. Instead, heat it on the stove-top at medium heat with a skillet. You'll need to use cooking spray to keep it from sticking, and you should let it heat while covered. Heat for 10-25 minutes, checking regularly.

While corn meal is an excellent way to keep a pizza from sticking to a pizza peel, some people don't like the favor. If you're cooking your own pizzas, you can use cooking parchment instead to separate pizza and peel, or slide a cookie sheet between the two.
